Louis Zwicker The Barrista.
After finding the world of accountants a bit too cold, Louis decided to heat things up in his world by opening a cafe! And then, to add to his busy life, he also took over a coffee roasting company! Well, things are certainly hot now, with our roaster going almost daily to provide that fantastic, fresh roasted Java Factory Coffee to the world!
"Changing our world, one cup at a time," is one of Louis' favorite sayings and he does mean it literally.
After taking over the roasting company Louis began concentrating on providing quality and freshness, as much Fair Trade & Organic coffees as possible, and introducing speciality coffees not found anywhere else in the Maritimes.
Louis has turned what was a low-key operation into a thriving, recognizable premium and speciality gourmet coffee roasting company!
Jenn Terry The Apprentice.
No! Not like the TV show! There are no cameras here...well... there are a few, but we are definately NOT releasing THAT footage!
Jenn joined The Java Factory Roasting Company in July 2006.
She currently spends her time managing the new Halifax Java Factory Cafe, learning how to roast coffee and doing whatever else needs to be done!
Why does she do it?
Jenn loves coffee and "...because everyone deserves great coffee!"
This is exactly why you will find her at the Cafe most mornings, smiling and being far, far too cheerful for 7am!

Lounging in the sun with his sombrero and his espresso! This little guy is definately living the high life!
